Sidewalk Simon: Colors of The Rainbow Learning Activity from Toddler Approved
Just like EJ at Toddler Approved, I’m dating myself by revealing that the Simon electronic memory game was a favourite of mine in the ’80′s. I never actually owned one but oh how I loved it! In her post, EJ mentions a FREE Simon Says iPhone and iPad app. I downloaded it and R hasn’t stopped playing it all week. It’s become a firm favourite. We’re going to try EJ’s fabulous “real life” version on the weekend.
We’re Going On A Bear Hunt! from My Little Happies
If your kids are fans of the classic book “We’re Going On A Bear Hunt!” then you will love this post from My Little Happies. It is sweet, fun and hilarious. This was one of those posts that just stuck in my head all week, even when I wasn’t in front of the laptop. You know it’s a great idea when that happens!
How fun do these look? In the post Building with Ice Cubes over at Train Up A Child Learn As We Go , food colouring is added to water before freezing into perfectly sqaure ice cubes and all sorts of sensory fun is had! We will DEFINITELY be giving this a try.
I just couldn’t resist this Exploring Outdoors – Frog Hunting post from Rainy Day Mum. We love exploring and playing outdoors and this looks like such fun. We have a creek close by our home and we love heading down there, discovering and learning.
Now it’s your turn! Click on the frog link below to see what’s been shared so far this week, or add your own.
Welcome to The Kid’s Co-op!
Each week we get together we’ll ask YOU to share your favorite kid’s activities. We’d love to see a plethora of ideas geared for toddlers to pre-teens. We are looking for activities that are family oriented, fun, unique and educational. We will be sharing our favorite post from our own blogs. Please share your favorite project or blog post below. {Co-hosted by: The Kid’s Co-op Pinterest Board , Let’s Lasso the Moon & Nurture Store}

Thank you for the feature! I hope you enjoy the ice cube blocks when you try them.
Thanks for posting such an awsome idea Allison. This is exactly the type of play that R loves. I’m just waiting for a day that is warm enough for us to do this.
